Nigerian artists, Burna Boy, Tems and Rema thrilled their fans with wonderful performances at the NBA All-Star Game 2023 Halftime Show in Utah, the United States.
KanyiDaily had earlier reported that the three Nigerians were billed to headline the world’s biggest sporting event with an afro beats-themed performance on Sunday, February 19.
During the event, Pascal Siakam, a Cameroonian player for the Toronto Raptors, introduced the three Afrobeats stars on the stage where they delivered stellar performances that left everyone cheering.
Burna Boy started the show with a lively performance of his hit songs “Anybody” and “It’s Plenty,” which was followed by an exuberant set from Rema. He energized the crowd with his energetic performances of “Calm Down” and “Holiday.”
Tems, who made history as the first Nigerian woman to win a Grammy award, came on stage with an impressive set featuring her hit songs “Free Mind,” as well as her verses from Wizkid’s “Essence” and Future’s “Wait For U.”
Burna Boy returned to close the show with a brilliant rendition of his smash hits “YE” and “Last Last”. A performance that further proved his mettle as one of the world’s best-performing acts.
