Nollywood actor, Adams Kehinde also known as Lege Miami, has been dragged to court by a comedian, Debo Adedayo, better known as Mr Macaroni.
It was gathered that Mr Macaroni filed the lawsuit through his legal representative, Falana and Falana’s Chambers, demanding N50 million in damages over defamatory comments made by Lege Miami on social media.
Lege Miami made these statements on his Instagram page after Mr Macaroni had shared a public message urging Nigerian youths to remain united and not create intertribal chaos over politicians.
Reacting to the message, the actor accused the comedian of providing wrong information and misleading the public. In his response, Mr Macaroni filed a defamation suit against him.
Lege, who shared the lawsuit via his Instagram page, described Macaroni as his longtime friend and shared a throwback video of him with the skit-maker where they were laughing.
In a video, Lege also expressed his admiration for Mr. Falana and promised to pay him a visit. He advised the lawyer not to worry about his disagreements with Mr. Macaroni, as they were friends and would resolve their issues indoor.
Sharing the now-deleted post, Lege wrote: “Debo my longtime friend why nah why nah !!!!!!!!!!! Mr Freaky Freaky 😂😂😂😂😂 You are doing well joor @mrmacaroni1e.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Mr. Macaroni had also revealed that since he declared his support for the LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi, he has been receiving all sorts of attacks and insults from some supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
