Vice-president, Yemi Osinbajo has cast his vote in the ongoing governorship and state assembly elections in Ogun State.
The vice-president and his wife, Dolapo Osinbajo, voted at his polling unit 14, Egunrege Ward 1, Ikenne in Ikenne local government area of Ogun State.
Speaking after he cast his vote on Saturday, Osinbajo described the elections as very peaceful and pleasant such that people have been able to cast their votes without any problem.
He said, “I think from here, my polling unit, it is excellent; I think everything is peaceful and the whole process has been conducted very well.
“I just hope and pray that this is how it is being carried on across the nation, but it has been a very pleasant experience.
“I am glad that I’ve been able to cast my vote and also that many of us who want to cast their votes today have been able to cast their votes.”
