A young man has been shot as residents repelled suspected thugs who invaded their polling unit at Ago Palace Way, Okota area of Lagos State.

In a video circulating on social media, the residents with some security agents were chasing the hoodlums with dogs when gunshots were heard.
One of the thugs was seen lying lifeless on the floor after the gunshot.
