The Super Eagles of Nigeria have arrived in the country after defeating Guinea-Bissau 1-0 in the rematch of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match on Monday.
The Super Eagles arrived in Nigeria on Tuesday morning.
Recall that the players and their officials had departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Sunday for the reverse fixture of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau.
This came after the Eagles lost the first leg of the match at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Friday last week.
With the win against the Djurtus, the Eagles are back to the top of the Group A table with nine points from four games.
Guinea-Bissau is second with seven points, while Sierra Leone with five points is third.
