Former Minister of Aviation cum Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode has mourned Australian comedian and actor, Barry Humphries.
Kanyi Daily earlier reported that Humphries, best known for his creations Dame Edna Everage and Sir Les Patterson died on Saturday at the age of 89.
His death was disclosed by his family in a statement.
The statement briefly read: “He was completely himself until the very end, never losing his brilliant mind, his unique wit, and generosity of spirit.“
Taking to his official Twitter handle on Saturday, Fani-Kayode expressed sadness at the demise of the entertainer.
He said the deceased brought “smiles to our faces and laughter to our lips for so many decades.”
The former minister added that “We will miss you and we will never forget you! RIP.”

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that a viral video has shown the moment some police officers were captured assaulting two unidentified men with machete at an open undisclosed location.
The Imo State Police Command has therefore condemned the assault on the two men.
