Victoria Chidoka, mother to former Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka is dead.

Ex-Minister, Chidoka Mourns Brother-In-Law Who Died Due To ‘Cultural Failure’ At Federal Hospital

Osita announced this in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

He disclosed that his mother died on Monday, April 3 at the age of 75.

“With pain in our hearts and unconditional faith in the Love of God, we announce the passing of our mother, wife, sister, and grandmother Deaconess Victoria Nneka Chidoka at the age of 75 on Monday, April 3 at her residence.

“Mama Osi, as she is fondly called, passed peacefully surrounded by family and our loving thoughts as she came to the end of her courageous battle with health issues.”

According to him, funeral arrangements would be announced shortly by the family.

“At this time, we pray for God’s love, mercy, and grace upon her and those left behind to mourn her. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly by the family,” Chidoka added.

Chidoka served as Aviation minister under President Goodluck Jonathan.

In a related development, Kanyi Daily reported that the former Governor of Abia State, Orji Kalu lost his first wife, Ifeoma Orji.

In other news, some former students of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) have recounted their unpleasant experiences at the institution’s Hall 3 hostel.

The ex-students recounted their experiences while reacting to the news of the murder of a final-year student of the university, simply known as Desmond.
