Nigerian comedian, Ganiyu Kehinde, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, has broken his silence after he returned home following his disappearance.
KanyiDaily recalls that on Tuesday, Lande’s wife had In a video revealed that the comedian has been missing since left home without his phone on Sunday night, March 26th.
The comedian’s wife said the case has been reported to the police, pleading that anyone with information about his whereabouts should share it.
In a video shared on Ijoba Lande’s Instagram page on Thursday, the comedian could be seen alighting from a vehicle and walking into his house.
The skit maker burst into tears after setting foot inside his home where some people gathered to welcome him including his family and friends.
It was gathered that Ijoba Lande was found by some vigilantes who called the number of the wife to alert his family after they found him looking disturbed and really unkempt.
Ijoba Lande Breaks Silence
In an Instagram live session, the comedian started off by appreciating Nigerians for their love and concern for him, stressing that this is the first time he received such love.
Ijoba Lande also spoke on his disappearance, noting that he wasn’t kidnapped by anybody, but ‘lost himself’ after he left his house on his own accord.
He revealed that he never knew what depression is until he experienced it, though he is still recovering, he believes he would be better as the day goes on.
Ijoba appreciated also appreciated influencers like Esabod, Tunde Ednut, Gistlover, and Kokun Foundation for their love and support as he tenders apology to them.
“Esabod, Kokun, Tunde Ednut, Gistlover… I appreciate you, if I ever offend you, please forgive me. The Lord doesn’t like the thing I did, help me beg God for mercy,” he said.
“I didn’t know depression is real until I went through it. I haven’t gotten myself well, but I am a bit okay. There is so much to say. It’s your prayer that worked for me”.
