Nigerian superstar, Davido has unfollowed his Personal Logistics Manager, Isreal DMW, over his alleged homophobic post against popular influencer, Enioluwa.
Isreal DMW, in a Snapchat handle identified as Juju DMW, had shared photos of the Enioluwa alongside homophobic captions in which he accused the influencer of being a gay.
Davido’s manager also alleged that Enioluwa is involved in inappropriate activities, which his supporters might try to defend as creative content, but 30BG does not support homosexuality.
The posts reads, “We are not in support of gay, God forbid bad tin. They are into rubbish and dia useless supporters would day its content”.
Israel DMW Debunks Homophobic Post On Enioluwa
Hours after news of the homophobic post went viral on social media, Isreal DMW took to the comment section of famous blogger, Instablog9ja to debunk the news.
He wrote: “Una dey mad. No be me and una”.
Maintaining his stance that the homophobic WhatsApp post was never from him but from a fake account and impersonator.
“The write-up was never from me. It is purely a manufactured fake account from impersonators. Thanks, everyone. Never from me at all. I have no such account. Thanks, everyone,” he wrote.
In a follow-up post, Israel DMW insisted that he wasn’t the one behind the account and apologized for any problem the insensitive and false posts must have caused.
He wrote, “I repeat that I didn’t say this!! Everyone has a choice to be and to do whatever they want with their life and I’m in no place to judge. I apologize for any harm this wrong message must have caused. Thank you all”.
Davido Unfollows Isreal DMW
Despite clearing the air as regards the homophobic posts, a survey conducted on Davido’s Instagram page shows that he’s no longer following Isreal DMW.
Davido’s swift ‘unfollow action’ has spurred reactions from netizens who are of the view that the singer doesn’t want anyone or anything to disturb his peace.
