VIDEO: Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu Spotted In Guinea Conakry Chopper
Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu have been spotted in a viral video seated in a helicopter, said to be a Guinea Conakry chopper.
It is not clear when the video was taken or what the circumstances surrounding the event were.
This comes a few days after one of Nigeria’s finest investigative journalists, David Hindeyin, revealed that Tinubu has dual citizenship and released a passport of Tinubu said to be a Guinean passport.
According to the passport, Tinubu holds a Guinean passport which is contrary to the provisions of Nigeria’s constitution.
Section 137 (1) (a) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria provides “A person shall not be qualified for election to the office of President if subject to the provisions of Section 28 of this Constitution, he has voluntarily acquired the citizenship of a country other than Nigeria or, except in such cases as may be prescribed by the National Assembly, he has made a declaration of allegiance to such other country.”
According to the passport, the former Lagos State Governor acquired the passport of Guinea Republic in 2015.
A Twitter user simply by the name, of Chief Ikukuoma, who shared the video of Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday night, called on the Nigerian government to quickly investigate the duo.
Ikukuoma alleged that Guinea Conakry is the headquarters of cocaine in Africa.
His tweet has so far generated over 1,600 retweets and more than 165 comments.
He wrote, “Nigerian government should quickly invite Bola Amoda Tinubu and Babajide Sanwo-Olu and investigate them for ties with Guinea Conakry which is the Headquarters of cocaine in Africa. This was Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sanwoolu in the said country !!! We can’t afford to become a Narco State
“The coat of arms on the body of the helicopter 🚁 has the coat of Guinea Conakry government which Bola Amoda Tinubu is holding their diplomatic passport as unveiled by David Hundeyin.”
