Why I Don’t Want To Respond To AY’s N30,000 Claim – Basketmouth

Popular Comedian, Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth has reacted to the N30,000 claim by his colleague, Ayo Makun, also known as AY Makun.

Recall that AY Makun had in a recent interview disclosed that his feud with his with Basketmouth started in 2006 over a sum of N30,000 not paid to him at the start of his career in the comedy industry.

AY during the interview said that even though he tried to end the beef with Basketmouth as they are now both rich but he will always refuse as Basketmouth always tells him that “I’m a beast, I don’t forgive.” 

In a viral video that surfaced on Saturday, Basketmouth spoke briefly about the beef.

The veteran comedian responded to the audience’s request to tell his side of the story.

He said, “I would love to talk about it, but some people will record it. Then it becomes leaked to the public and they say that I have responded.

“To be honest, I don’t want that guy (AY) to ever hear from me.”

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that Kano State Governor-Elect, Abba Yusuf Saturday, issued a public advisory regarding the suspension of all public debts owed by the state government.

Yusuf’s advisory was signed by his Chief Press Secretary Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
