The son of late Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi was overcome with emotion during his funeral, as he revealed that he had offended his father before his untimely death.

KanyiDaily had reported how Murphy Afolabi tragically died on Sunday morning, May 14, 2023, after allegedly falling and hitting his head in the bathroom.

During Afolabi’s funeral, the actor’s eldest son tearfully expressed deep remorse, acknowledging the significant role his father played in his life before his demise.

With tears streaming down his face, the son recounted the numerous ways in which Murphy had been a loving and supportive father, depite offending the late actor.

The young man, who didn’t provide much detail about his rift with his late father, sought his forgiveness, expressing a heartfelt desire for mercy during his transition to the great beyond.

He further shared a surprising incident where he unexpectedly received a sum of N150,000 from Murphy. Additionally, his father urged him to bring along his wife and daughter— a gesture he had never previously requested.
