As of now, Juventus are seventh in Serie A and have dropped out of contention for a European spot.
Following the Federal Court of Appeal’s decision in the capital gains controversy, Juventus was docked 10 Serie A points.
The point deduction occurred prior to Juventus’ Serie A match against Empoli on Monday night.
Juventus director Francesco Calvo addressed the latest points punishment before the start of Juventus’ match against Empoli.
“We are not satisfied with the -10 point penalty,” Calvo stated. We’ll see whether there’s any room for an appeal. This year, we are fighting against everyone and everything.”
