After agreeing on a contract to sign his Napoli teammate, defender Kim Min-jae, Manchester United have reportedly been advised to pay £140 million to sign Nigeria International Victor Osimhen this summer.
The Red Devils qualified for the Champions League on Thursday night, which will provide them a huge boost in the summer window as Erik ten Hag tries to bring in a striker and a centerback.
According to reports this week, United are close to signing Napoli’s Kim Min-jae, who has a £45 million release clause in his current deal, but the Premier League club is also interested in his teammate Victor Osimhen.
According to Il Mattino, Manchester United will have to spend £140 million for the desired Nigerian player, but it is unclear whether the Manchester club is willing to pay that amount.

Osimhen has had a fantastic season, driving Napoli’s run to the Serie A title, and has established himself as one of Europe’s most sought-after players.
The striker has 28 goals and five assists in 37 games this season and would be a significant signing for Ten Hag if he could get his hands on him.
Napoli, on the other hand, is hesitant to sell Osimhen and believes that their £140 million asking price would be matched or deter some of his rivals.
