Middlesbrough will demand £15 million for star striker, Chuba Akpom, who is set to look for a new club after failing to gain promotion to the Premier League.
Coventry City ended Michael Carrick’s side’s promotion ambitions last week.
Following his outstanding scoring form for Boro this season, Akpom has piqued the interest of numerous Premier League clubs.
The 27-year-old scored 29 goals in all competitions, including 28 in the Championship, to become the league’s leading scorer.
Middlesbrough, according to The Sun, already knows it will be impossible to keep the striker and will seek £15 million from any potential buyer.
Akpom joined the Riverside from the Greek team PAOK Salonica in 2020.
