President Muhammadu Buhari has unveiled the N19.6 billion ultra-modern new headquarters of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) in Abuja.
The president inaugurated the building on Tuesday in Abuja.
The building is located behind the headquarters of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) in the Maitama district.
According to the Deputy Comptroller-General of Customs (DCG) Bashir Adeniyi, the project was conceived in 2022.
The edifice consists of three main wings and a tower in the middle that has 12 floors.
The inauguration of the customs building comes a day after Buhari inaugurated the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals, established by Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, on Monday.
