In a video shared on his Instagram page, Portable lamented that despite his vocal support for the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, he was not listed among the 46 musicians who would perform at the event.

No less than 46 musicians including Buju, Waje, Brymo, Fireboy, Kaycee, Asake, Timaya, Pasuma, Naira Marley, Tony Tetuila, and Seyi Vibes, among many other musicians performed at the concert.

Portable stated that while other artists who performed at the event did not actively campaign for Tinubu, he fought for the politician both on the streets and online, advocating for his presidential ambition.

He said, “They have ripped me. I used to shout up and down: Akwe [There is] Tinubu and when I do so people insult me. But I continued posting it.”

While referring to the artists who performed at the event, Portable said, “They did not post you, Uncle Tinubu. We were the ones that fought for you. We fought for you in Lagos, everywhere, including online.”

Portable noted that the president-elect and the event organizers considered him to perform, but intermediaries or middlemen excluded him after he rejected the payment they offered him.

According to him, they informed him that the budget for each artiste was N10 million, but the inauguration management team said he will only get N5 million to perform at the concert.

He said; “Na so dem call my manager say make I come perform for Abuja, say na N10 million dey drop oh, but na N5 million go reach portable hand. Na so I no gree, I tear the paper, I delete their number. No be me be star? Na im make me no perform for Abuja oh!”

Portable, who revealed that he rejected the offer, asked the music stars that accepted the money if they supported or promoted the president-elect at any time before, during, or after the election.

Sharing the video, he wrote: “ZAzuu Them Dõn Rip Me oooh. Na Me Sing Akoi TINUBU ✍🏻. Eja Loni Ibu 💰 Give What Belongs To ZAZUU To ZAZUU.
