Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has expressed his gratitude to all those who sent in condolence messages over the death of his 16-year-old first son, Kambilichukwu.
KanyiDaily recalls that on March 29, Kambilichukwu collapsed while playing football with his friends in school, and was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos, where he was confirmed dead.
In a post shared via his Instagram page on Thursday night, May 4, Yul Edochie thanked those who commiserated with his family by visiting and calling him during the incident.
The actor prayed to God to bless those who reacted out to him, noting that the love and concern for his family in this difficult time have been overwhelming.
“I thank you all for the condolence messages, condolence visits, calls, care, and prayers you all offered for my son and for my family,” he wrote.
“The love and concern have been overwhelming. I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you from the depths of my heart. May God bless you all abundantly. Thank you.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Yul Edochie reacted publicly to Kambili’s death for the first time on April 27, saying his son made his mark in the world in just 16 years.
