Jide Kosoko Defends Tinubu, Says Its Senseless To Compare His Government To Buhari
Nollywood actor, Prince Jide Kosoko has defended President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing that it is too early to criticize his government.
During a recent interview with Sunday Scoop, the 69-year-old actor expressed his confidence in the current government and his admiration for Tinubu’s capabilities as a leader.
He said it is “senseless and silly” to compare a government that has not even surpassed the one-month mark with that of its predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, who ruled for eight years.
“It is senseless if they (Nigerians) start comparing a government that is less than one month with the past one. In fact, it seems so silly but I can only say that this government has started very well and I am convinced that they mean business.
“I know Tinubu as an achiever and as someone who likes to play drama. He is here to make the lives of Nigerians better,” Prince Jide Kosoko said.
KanyiDaily recalls that Prince Jide Kosoko was among the 24 entertainers appointed to join the presidential campaign council list of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Bola Tinubu.
