My world crumbled after discovering my hubby impregnated his ex – Toke Makinwa

Toke Makinwa, a Nollywood actress and media figure, said she was upset after learning that her estranged husband, Maje Ayida, had impregnated his ex-girlfriend.

She stated she found out about it when she was nine months pregnant.

This was said by the actress in the most recent episode of her YouTube vlog series, Toke Moments.

According to the report, Makinwa divorced her spouse, Ayida, in 2015, but the marriage was officially dissolved in court in 2017.

She claimed that her profession was her sole solace, therefore she insisted on continuing to work despite her mental distress at learning of her husband’s infidelity.

“I think [my job] was the only thing I was certain of in my life,” Makinwa added. Everything else that was known had failed. The universe I had created had crumbled. And the only thing I was certain about was my work.

“I remember walking into the [radio] studio around 7 a.m. and hearing World News.” And there is a call from the owner of the radio station, and he is like, ‘everyone is talking about you, I don’t want to get into it but people are thinking you would physically fall apart. “I believe you should return home.”

She said she could handle work because she had learned previously to “leave her feelings at the door and pick them up on the way home.” So, once you enter the studio, it’s no longer about you. It’s about the millions of people trying to make their lives work; they’re the ones tuning in wanting to be entertained, informed, and up to date on what’s going on in the globe.”
