Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu is currently in a meeting with members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, which is made up of the 36 State Governors, at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
This is Tinubu’s first meeting with all State Governors across various parties, despite meeting with governors on the platform of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The meeting, reports say, began at 12:36 pm.
All the governors were in attendance except those of Kaduna, Katsina, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Ekiti, Sokoto, Ondo, Borno, Yobe, Gombe, and Katsina states.
However, the governors of Edo and Niger states are represented by their deputies.
Vice President Kashim Shettima is also attending the meeting.
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that Tinubu on Wednesday, swore in Senator George Akume as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
