A former Niger Delta Militant, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo has reacted to the appointment of Nuhu Ribadu as the National Security Adviser (NSA) by President Bola Tinubu.
On Monday, Tinubu confirmed Ribadu as his NSA replacing Babagana Munguno, who was appointed by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Reacting, Tompolo congratulated the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on his new appointment.
In the full-page publication congratulatory statement, Tompolo, who is a former commander of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), thanked Tinubu for appointing Ribadu as the NSA.
He expressed his belief that Ribadu will bring innovations that will drive the security apparatus of the nation to an enviable height.
The message read, “On behalf of my family, friends, and associates, I, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, the Ibe-Ebidouwei of ljaw nation rejoice with my brother and friend, Mr Nuhu Ribado, AIG Rtd on your appointment as the National Security Adviser (NSA) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,”

Ribadu is the pioneer Chairman of the EFCC.
In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that the Nigeria Police Force Spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi has again called for the arrest of skit maker, Abdullahi Maruf, popularly known as Trinity Guy.
Adejobi called for the arrest of the skit maker over a child prank video, saying he should be detained and charged in court.
