Nigerian comedian and singer, Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji, popularly known as Nasboi, has taken to social media to announce the death of his 20-year-old brother.

In a post shared on his Twitter page on Friday night, Nasboi revealed that he lost his brother a few minutes ago and prayed to God for the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss.

Lost my only brother to the cold hands of death last night. He was only 20. I pray God brings me out of this,” the 31-year-old skit maker wrote.

Sharing the sad news on his Instagram stories, Nasboi lamented that he is known for bringing joy and laughter to others through his skits, but now he is the one shedding tears.

He wrote, “Na me wey Dey make people |laugh. Na me Dey cry.”

As the news of his brother’s passing resonates with his followers and fans, many have come forward to offer their condolences and support to Nasboi during this difficult time.
