Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci has revealed how she feel about people trying to break her Guinness World Records for the longest cooking marathon.
KanyiDaily recalls that on May 15, 2023, Hilda Baci surpassed the previous Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time held by Chef Lata Tondon from Rewa, India in 2019.
The Guinness World Records confirmed Hilda Baci’s remarkable achievement on June 13, after she broke the record for the longest-cooking marathon by a single individual with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes.
Hilda’s her remarkable feat has set a benchmark in the culinary world, inspiring other chefs to either break her record or take on the challenge.
During a recent interview with Legit NG, Hilda Baci said she sees herself as a trailblazer and an inspiration to a lot of people attempting to break her record.
When asked about her perspective on those trying to break her record, she said, “I feel i started a trend or like I am pretty much a trailblazer because only a trailblazer will start something and other people will want to do it”.
KanyiDaily recalls that Hilda Baci whose real name is Hilda Effiong Bassey, recently received her plaque and certificate from the Guinness World Records for the longest cooking marathon.
