Former beauty queen, Dabota Lawson has revealed her parent’s reaction following her failed marriage to billionaire ex-husband, Prince Sunny Aku.

In December 2014, Dabota Lawson got married to billionaire businessman Prince Sunny Aku, and the couple separated less than one year after.

During an interview on TVC’s ‘Your View’ program, the ex-beauty quen revealed that her parents welcomed her back home with open arms following her separation.

She explained that her parents did not press her for details about the reasons behind her failed marriage, as they wanted to spare her unnecessary stress.

Dabota Lawson revealed that her ex-husband eventually reached out to her, acknowledging his shortcomings and offering his apologies.

She said, “My parents were so happy to have me back, my dad didn’t ask any questions and my mother didn’t…… Nobody really wanted to stress me about it. I just went home and was fine.

“He contacted me and apologised for a lot of things but I have moved past that stage. I am not invested emotionally in that place. I was able to forgive and we have been fine since then”.

KanyiDaily recalls that Dabota Lawson said that she’s not so thankful for everything that has happened to her and wished she had made some right decisions in life which includes getting married in 2014.
