A Nigerian writer and filmmaker, Onyeka Nwelue has recounted a painful experience he had after he helped a commercial sex worker who was running from military operatives.
Nwelue recounted in a short tweet on his official handle on Monday.
He said the experience happened on the 26th of January, 2017 when was lodged at the Crystal Palace Hotel on Garki Street, Abuja.
According to him, he tried to help the commercial sex worker who was running from military men.
He disclosed that as a result of the help he tried rendering, the military men beat “the hell out of me.”
Continuing in a tone that betrayed his regret, the writer also revealed, “The sex worker blatantly refused to testify in court.”

Onyeka Nwelue did not, however, provide much detail about the event or the name of the sex worker.
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that Nwelue about eight months ago vowed that he can never live in Nigeria.
According to him, he can live in the country even if Jesus Christ, “Amadioha” and other saints take over Aso Rock, Nigeria’s seat of power.
