Nigerian singer, D’banj has taken to social media to express heartfelt appreciation to his mother on the occasion of her 70th birthday, which was celebrated on Saturday night.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, D’banj described his mother as Mummy Show, or Sisi Eko, and he praised her for being the pillar of their family and instilling valuable virtues, rooted in their faith in Jesus Christ.
The singer, who also referred to his mum as the epitome of a perfect mother, lauded her selflessness and her role as a prayer warrior, acknowledging how fortunate he and his siblings are to have her as their mother.
He expressed his gratitude to God for blessing them with such an incredible woman and conveyed his wishes that all her heart’s desires and dreams come true.
The singer also thanked his mother for the wisdom and values she has imparted to them, particularly emphasizing the importance of their faith in Jesus Christ.
D’banj acknowledged her as a true Mamalet, and vowed to celebrate her not only on her birthday but throughout the year because she truly deserves it.
