Some residents of Enugu state on Monday, protested against the continuous enforcement of the illegal sit-at-home order by a faction of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The residents trooped out in their numbers in protest as captured on a video shared on Facebook.
In the live recorded video by Ebubechukwu Uzo on his Facebook page, many residents of the state were seen protesting against the illegal sit-at-home order.
The residents were seen holding placards with various inscriptions while protesting.
One of the inscriptions read: “We no longer meet up with our hire purchase because of sit-at-home.”

Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that the Enugu State Government on July 4th had said it will shut down schools and markets that observe the “illegal” sit-at-home order in the state.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Chidiebere Onyia disclosed the government’s decision in a statement.
