It was gathered that the incident in question had transpired the previous night after the Guinness game, where Mercy Eke and Alex became embroiled in a heated face-off.

What had begun as a verbal exchange soon escalated into a full-blown argument between the two housemates.

While Mercy’s emotional outburst had been relatively brief, Alex chose to amplify the matter by ranting about the incident throughout the house, resorting to name-calling directed at Mercy Eke.

The reason for the outburst was that Mercy had inadvertently triggered Alex by mentioning her tendency to feel distressed and disheartened whenever she didn’t secure a victory in a game or competition.

In the aftermath, Mercy Eke’s diary session served as a platform for her to open up about the extent of the emotional turmoil she had been enduring.

The reality star revealed that during their argument, Alex had uttered the deeply hurtful words “go and die,” a statement that had left her feeling profoundly isolated.

Mercy Eke told Big Brother in the diary room that while she initially downplayed the impact of those words, their weight grew heavier as she reflected upon them.

She confessed that the statement had taken a toll on her emotional well-being, leading her to experience moments of profound exhaustion and even contemplate leaving the house.

Mercy Eke articulated, “When Alex said ‘go and die,’ I felt like it wasn’t a big deal, even though she claimed not to remember saying it. However, as I thought about it more, I realized I would never tell anyone to ‘go and die.”

She continued, “Last night, I found myself thinking about it, and that’s when the feeling of loneliness began to set in. Feeling alone is something I despise because I strive to be ‘very strong.’ That’s my way.”

With tears in her eyes, Mercy went on, “I didn’t want to shed tears here, but I contemplated that since Alex is still here and Prince recently joined, I wouldn’t feel that sense of loneliness. However, after the argument, I felt incredibly sorrowful.”

Expressing her unexpected dismay at clashing with Alex, someone she least expected to have a conflict with, Mercy Eke concluded, Engaging in a quarrel with Alex, of all people, was unexpected. Now, I’m at a loss. I feel like… I’m ready to go home.”
