The devastating news came just one week after his father’s burial.

The family disclosed that Angus had been grappling with mental health challenges, particularly after the loss of his father, who was his closest confidante.
They emphasized the importance of seeking support and not suffering in silence, hoping that Angus’s passing would serve as a reminder to others that they are not alone in their struggles.
Cloud’s family expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and requested privacy during this difficult time as they process the devastating loss of their beloved Angus.

While most of Cloud’s family resides in Ireland, he was born in Oakland, Califonia in 1998 and would later attend the School of Production Design at Oakland School for the Arts – where, interestingly, he was classmates with Euphoria co-star, Zendaya.
Angus Cloud played Fezco “Fez” O’Neill in the show’s first two seasons. Fez is an area drug dealer and close friends with the show’s lead character Rue, played by Zendaya.
Cloud hadn’t acted before he was cast in “Euphoria.” He was walking down the street in New York when casting scout Eléonore Hendricks noticed him. Cloud was resistant at first, suspecting a scam. Then casting director Jennifer Venditti met with him and series creator Sam Levinson eventually made him a co-star in the series alongside Zendaya for its first two seasons.
To some, Cloud seemed so natural as Fez that they suspected he was identical to the character — a notion that Cloud pushed back against.
Angus Cloud’s impact extended beyond his role on “Euphoria.” He appeared in various films, including “The Line,” “North Hollywood,” and “The Perfect Women,” as well as music videos for artists like Becky G, Karol G, and Juice WRLD.
In addition to his work on the HBO series, Angus was involved in several upcoming projects, including two unreleased films, a horror film titled “Your Lucky Day,” and an Oakland-based drama called “Freaky Tales.” He was also linked to “Scream 6,” slated for release the following year.
Cloud starred in multiple fashion campaigns over the past couple of years. In February 2022, he was named a global brand ambassador for Ralph Lauren Fragrances, appearing in a campaign to promote the brand’s Polo Eau de Toilette.
In June of the same year, Cloud became the face of Amiri’s Icon Campaign. In November, the actor released a capsule collection with Billionaire Boys Club in partnership with Rockstar Energy Drink.
Angus Cloud was also a brand ambassador for Puma alongside Zaya Wade, Caleb McLaughlin and Iris Apatow. He featured in two campaigns for the footwear brand this year, with the latest being released on July 10.
