“I’m Feeling An Acute Sense Of Loss” – Nkem Owoh ‘Osuofia’ Finally Speaks On His Daughter’s Death

Veteran Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, popularly known as Osuofia, has finally broken his silence following the death and burial date of his late daughter, Kosisochukwu.

KanyiDaily recalls that Nkem Owoh lost his 24-year-old daughter on June 28 after battling liver cancer. She was buried on August 24th at her father’s hometown in Enugu State.

Following the girl’s death, Osuofia faced accusations in July regarding his alleged neglect of his family, which was said to have tragically contributed to his daughter’s passing.

Speaking on his daughter’s death for the first time via his Instagram page, Osuofia expressed gratitude for the support and love offered to him and his family after his daughter’s passing.

The movie star acknowledged the comfort in knowing one is not alone in times of tragedy and appreciated the condolences he received while grieving his late daughter.

Despite the unexpected change and profound loss, Nkem Owoh said he drew strength from the encouragement received, believing it would help him overcome this challenging time.

He wrote, “I want to thank you all for the support and love shown to me and my family. When tragedy strikes, there is nothing more heartening than knowing that you’re not alone.

“It was with deep gratitude that I received your note, and calls with condolences. We have seen many changes over the years. But this is a change I did not anticipate and I am feeling an acute sense of loss.

“However, I know that because of your encouragement, I will get through this time. Thank you for helping to push me through my grief”.
