Nigerian rapper and activist, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has shaed an update on his journey to recovery.

KanyiDaily recalls that Falz revealed that he sustained an injury while playing football with friends and underwent surgery on May 2, 2023, to repair his torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament.

Taking to his Instagram page on Wednesday, August 8, Falz shared a video showcasing his commitment to regain his strength through exercise.

Addressing his recovery journey, the rapper acknowledged the challenging nature of the past few months, marked by significant pain.

Despite the difficulties, he revealed his determination to persevere through the pain and expressed the emotional toll this period had taken on him.

Falz expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming love and support he has received, stressing that this outpouring of affection has acted as a driving force for him to keep moving forward.

He shared, “I’ve had it pretty tough these last couple of months. Pain. A lot of it. But I have also refused to stop pushing through the pain!

“I’m ready grateful for the love you all have showered me with. I truly am. It kept me going for real. I’ve been very emotional in my quiet time.”

With an optimistic outlook, Falz decided to channel his pain into creative energy. He humorously added, Decided to take the hurt & concert it to GBEDU. What’s better than one fire jam? I’ll tell you, TWO!!”.
