Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie reacted to a recent interview by her in-law, Pete Edochie, who distanced himself from the second marriage of his son, Yul Edochie, to actress Judy Austin.
KanyiDaily recalls that during the interview, Pete Edochie revealed that Yul didn’t tell him about his second marriage to Judy Austin, stressing that he found out about their union, like every other person online.
The actor also showered praises on his son’s first wife, May Edochie who he described as a brilliant young woman, noting the success of Yul’s marriage was her efforts and credit and she is arguably his favorite daughter-in-law.
Sharing a video from the interview on her Instagram page, Rita Edochie claimed that Yul had hired people from a town in Onitsha called Ogbommanu to visit the hometown of Judy who she described as a drama devil.
The actress also described May as a national treasure, stressing that Yul and Judy believed they had outmaneuvered the mother of three, but in reality, they had only deceived themselves.
She wrote, “I said it that they hired people from Ogbommanu, Onitsha to Drama Devil’s hometown, now it’s clearly clear. My darling daughter Queen May is a National Treasure some people think they played her, but they really played themselves out of a good person”.
Meanwhile, Judy Austin has taken down a birthday post dedicated to Pete Edochie after he expressed love for May Edochie and distanced himself from her marriage with Yul.
