A 21-year-old man, Ibrahim Ashafa has been arrested by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) while metal drain ducts from the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos state.
Ashafa was nabbed by the patrol team of the RSS on Monday, August 28th at about 4:30 a.m.
Items recovered from him were four metal drain ducts, spanners, a plier, a rope, a screwdriver, and a wheel spanner.
A terse statement posted on the X handle of the Lagos Police Command, says the Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi while urging the operatives to intensify efforts in bringing to book vandals of the state’s infrastructure directed that the suspect be charged in court.
