Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Ifu Ennada has shared the disturbing messages she frequently receive from online trolls.
During her recent appearances at MTV Base Africa’s Sparks with socialite Pretty Mike, the actress revealed that the content of her direct messages (DMs) on social media is so outrageous that they could easily boost a YouTube channel or a TV show.
Ifu Ennada shared her exasperation over the kinds of messages she receives from trolls, which range from derogatory and offensive remarks to peculiar claims.
She recounted how some people went far as labeling her as a “transgender,” “homosexualist,” and even insinuated that she appears to be a “man that looks like a woman.”
The reality star also disclosed that her DMs have been flooded with explicit and inappropriate messages from men who send unsolicited images of their private parts.
Ifu Ennada said: “I feel like my DM should have a YouTube channel or a TV show. Because I have gotten the weirdest DMs.
“Let’s even start from the trolls. I have had people call me transgender. Some even said I’m a man that looks like a woman, I’m homosexual. They’ve called me all that. I’m all woman as you can see.
“Aside that, I have also had like crazy men come to my DMs and just send me their private businesses [private parts].”
Amid these unconventional interactions, Ifu Ennada clarified that her career in acting had already commenced before she participated in the Big Brother Naija reality show.
The actress, however, acknowledged that the show indeed acted as a turning point in her journey to prominence.
KanyiDaily recalls that Ifu Ennada claimed that she received a lot of compliments from white people who told her that she is pretty, but Nigerians have been telling her that she looks like a man.
