A video has shown the moment a cleric, Ibrahim Kaowa, said to be supporting bandits in Adamawa state with charms to evade capture was arrested by security agents.
The video was posted on X (formally known as Twitter) on Saturday night by a security analyst information platform, Zagazola.
Zagazola did not, however, state when the arrest of the cleric took place.
A text to accompany the video reads, “This cleric was caught for alleged supporting bandit with charms to evade being caught while carrying out their heinous crimes in Adamawa.”
In the video, the cleric while being interrogated by a voice behind the camera, said he resides in Jedda and admitted to supplying criminals in Adamawa with charms each time they want to embark on operations.
The charms were for the criminals to evade arrest or capture.
Below is the video of the arrest and interrogation of the suspect who spoke in Hausa.
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported how officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted an illicit drug concealed in brand-new male leather slippers going to Indonesia in a shipment.
