Former Big Brother Naija Housemate, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has demanded an apology from the organisers of the BBNaija reality TV show.
This comes after Big Brother issued two strikes to ‘All-Stars’ housemate, Ilebaye due to her violent altercation with her colleague, Cee-C on Saturday night.
Many viewers expected Ilebaye to be disqualified from the show for physically pulling Cee-C’s hair during the intense argument. However, she was only given two strikes, along with a week’s punishment and exclusion from the Head of House game.
Big Brother clarified on Sunday that one more strike would result in Ilebaye’s disqualification from the ongoing BBNaija All Stars show.
Tacha, who was previously disqualified from the ‘PepperDem’ edition of the show for a similar incident involving Mercy Eke, took to Twitter to express her dissatisfaction.
In her post, the reality star accused BBNaija organisers of being dishonest and engaging in fraudulent practices, which she likened to a scam (referred to as ‘419’ in Nigeria).
She referred to them as a bunch of jokers, citing an unspecified “Article 15 sub section 1 of the BIG BRODA Constitution” to emphasize her discontent.
Tacha, who asked her followers for alternative terms to describe the organizers’ actions, threatened to take severe actions against them if they don’t apologize to her.
Her reaction has stirred up controversy, raising questions about the fairness and consistency of Big Brother Naija’s disciplinary measures and calling for accountability from the show’s organizers.
She tweeted: “Article 15 sub section 1 of the BIG BRODA Constitution states that…………………. Bunch of JOKERS!!!! “Can somebody give me another word for 419 please?? If I don’t GET AN APOLOGY Before tomorrow!!! War go happen here”
