Luis Leal, the captain of Sao Tome and Principe, has stated that they are in Uyo to defeat Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
The True Patriots are playing for dignity because they are already out of contention for a spot in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The previous time Adriano Eusebio’s team faced the Super Eagles in the qualifications, they were trounced 10-0.
In five games, Sao Tome has surrendered 20 goals and scored three.
Leal, on the other hand, predicted that the True Patriots will thrash and disgrace the Super Eagles this time.

“We are here to humiliate and thrash the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Uyo,” he claimed.
The game at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
