Damini Ogulu, alias Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, has achieved a new record as the first African to launch two songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in a single calendar year.
After spending weeks on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, his single ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ eventually debuted at No. 80 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Following the release of Burna Boy’s seventh studio album, ‘I Told Them,’ which increased sales and streams of the lead track, ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World,’ the song entered the main chart.
