According to the Daily Star, Manchester City is willing to nearly quadruple Erling Haaland’s salaries in order to deter Real Madrid’s interest.
The Norwegian already earns £375,000 every week, making him the Etihad’s joint top paid behind Kevin De Bruyne.
City, on the other hand, wants to offer him a new contract of £600,000 per week.
Haaland’s current contract expires in 2027, but the Premier League champions want to extend it.
