In a post shared on his Instagram page, Yul Edochie condemned the hypocrisy and insensitivity in people’s reactions to Mohbad’s death, highlighting his own experiences of online harassment and criticism.

The actor claimed that these people, including some in the Nollywood community, had previously mistreated him on the internet, spreading false information and insults for over a year.

Yul Edochie, who claimed that his critics wanted him to die in order to exploit his name for their agendas, expressed frustration that they were now using Mohbad’s name to gain traffic on their social media pages.

He lamented the lack of support from Nollywood colleagues and even family members during his challenging times. He emphasized that people often do not know the full story behind personal decisions and urged for understanding and empathy rather than judgment.
