American rapper, Meek Mill has shared his appreciation for the overwhelming support Nigerians have demonstrated following the tragic death of talented singer, Mohbad.
KanyiDaily recalls that Mohbad died at the age of 27 under controversial circumstances on September 12, and was buried the following day in Lagos.
Following Mohbad’s death, thousands of fans are protesting nationwide while demanding justice for the late singer with some holding candlelight processions in his honour.
As discussions and speculations about the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death fill social media, the impact of his case has reached international shores, prompting responses from global artists.
Reacting to a Twitter post by American rapper, Lil Durk who paid his tribute to Mohbad, Meek Mill revealed that he came across Mohbad’s story on TikTok and was heartened by the surge of support coming from Nigeria amid this unfortunate event.
The rapper wrote, “I watched his whole story on tik tok!!!! They riding for him in Nigeria I love that!.”
