Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, a famous Nigerian singer, says he wants to work with more American celebrity singers after the success of his smash-hit with Selena Gomez, ‘Calm Down.’
On Tuesday, at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey, the Benin-born musician expressly stated that he wishes to work with female superstars more.
He listed rappers Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion as someone he hopes to work with soon.

He said, “I’m hoping to meet Meg [Thee Stallion], Nicki [Minaj] for possible collaborations. Who else? Yeah, I wanna link up with girls dem.”
Kanyidaily recalls that Rema beat Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and others to become the first-ever winner of the newly created “Best Afrobeats Song” during the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, USA, on Tuesday.
