Lionel Messi, of Inter Miami, has stated that winning the Ballon d’Or this year would be a “beautiful honour.”
The 36-year-old, on the other hand, claims he has already won prestigious awards such as the Champions League, Copa America, and World Cup.
Messi is set to set a new record by winning the Ballon d’Or for the eighth time.

Erling Haaland of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are expected to challenge him.
“[The Ballon d’Or] is a beautiful honour,” Messi stated.
“However, I was fortunate to win everything: the Champions League, league titles, the Copa America, and the World Cup.” These are the significant honours.”
