Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola has raised concerns about the treatment of cast and crew by production managers in the Yoruba movie industry.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress highlighted the nonchalant attitudes displayed by production managers towards those involved in the movie-making process.
Wumi Toriola advised her colleagues not to rely on feeding allowances provided by production managers as a means to eat. She emphasized that waiting for such allowances could lead to health issues such as ulcers.
The actress emphasized the importance of prioritizing their own well-being and not solely relying on production managers for sustenance.
She encouraged everyone to read her message with understanding and acknowledged that she alone knows how her body feels in such situations.
The movie star wrote, “Actors/Crew Nor dey wait for feeding allowance from production managers before you go get food or don’t wait till you finish some scenes. Get that freaking break.
“Dey will only succeed in giving your Ulcer. Na me know where my body dey now. PM on set, you do this one ooooo. A ku saaaaaa tuntun”.
