Lobi Stars have asked God for help ahead of the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

Dominic Iorfa, chairman of the Pride of Benue, led prayers at the Aper Aku Stadium.

On Saturday, the team will kick off their NPFL campaign against Heartland.

The first match is scheduled at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, Imo State.

Lobi Stars finished sixth in the 2022-23 NPFL season following a dismal performance in the championship playoff in Lagos.

The team has yet to name a head coach for the upcoming NPFL season.
