Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede has appealed to the Nigerian Police, urging them to ensure justice is served for the late singer, Mohbad.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, Yvonne Jegede acknowledged the police force’s capability to resolve Mohbad’s case when they put their expertise to work.
The actress emphasized that her plea was not just for her own mental well-being but also for the well-being of countless others who are concerned that Mohbad’s fate might mirror that of others if swift action isn’t taken.
She pointed out that the entire world is aware of this particular case, and if it goes unresolved, it would not only be a disappointment to Nigeria, often referred to as the “giant of Africa,” but also a blow to its entire judicial system.
While expressing her gratitude to the House of Representatives for their interest in the case, Yvonne drew attention to the numerous online videos and evidence that could aid in solving the case.
She wrote, “This case is such a big deal that if justice isn’t served, it will be a big slap on the giant of Africa and its entire judicial system.
“I trust the Nigerian police @nigeriapoliceforce, I know they have the expertise to pull this off “if and when they want to”.
“I’m only begging for the mental health of most of us, help us solve this case because the whole world is aware of this case in particular.
“Plus there are so many loopholes (evidences) online to make finding people to investigate not so complex. 🙏🏽🤲🥹
Thanks to the House of Representatives for picking interest. I am very grateful 🥹👼 If you believe @iammohbad deserves justice, please go to @kafilat.ogbara ‘s page and show appreciation 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽”.
