Lagos socialite, Sam Larry has deactivated his Instagram page after being dragged for assaulting late singer Mohbad on multiple occasions before his untimely death.

Sam Larry is a close friend of singer Naira Marley, the former label boss of Mohbad, who parted ways with Marlian Records due to internal conflicts and allegations of assault.

Mohbad died under controversial circumstances on Tuesday, September 12, and was buried the following day in Ikorodu in accordance with Islamic customs.

Mohbad’s bereaved wife, Omowunmi revealed that the late singer who had issues with Naira Marley lived in constant fear and struggled until his death.

A series of old videos recently surfaced on social media showing the moment Sam Larry was harassing Mohbad on multiple occasions before his death, sparking a flurry of reactions.

Netizens have criticized Sam Larry and demanded an explanation from Naira Marley’s camp. They are calling for accountability and justice to be served in light of the incident involving Mohbad.

Faced with the backlash from fans and the escalating controversy, Sam Larry has chosen to deactivate his Instagram account on Thursday.
