On September 16, Nigeria will begin its quest to compete in the 2024 Olympic Games rugby tournament in Paris, France.
The Black Stallions will compete in the Africa qualifications in Zimbabwe against Kenya, Zambia, and Namibia.
Rugby Afrique revealed the draw for the tournament’s matchups on Friday.
The qualifiers will be contested on September 16 and 17, 2023.
On September 16, Nigeria will face the Shujas of Kenya, followed by Zambia and the Welwitschias of Namibia.
Nigeria placed second in the pre-Olympic qualifiers in Mauritius earlier this year, losing in the final to Algeria.
The Black Stallions were defeated by Algeria in the final 24-5 after defeating Ghana 24-7 in the first match, Burundi 43-14 in the second, and Congo 43-0 in the third.

Nigeria hopes to qualify for the Olympics after startling the world in 2014 by qualifying for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, under the leadership of Steve Lewis.
