Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, has donated N15 million to assist Liam Aloba, the son of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, also known as Mohbad.
KanyiDaily recalls that Mohbad died at the age of 27 under controversial circumstances on September 12, and was buried the following day in Lagos.
Following Mohbad’s death, his wife Omowunmi lamented that their baby is only five months old, and she doesn’t know where to begin without the late singer.
Taking to his Twitter page, Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Olusegun Dada, revealed that the President’s son had donated N15m to support Mohbad’s son.
Accompanied by a photo of the transaction receipt, Dada wrote: “The figurative apple that did not fall far from the tree #RIPIMOLE. Thank you ST.”
KanyiDaily recalls that music producer, Samklef had also received widespread admiration from Nigerians for raising over N15 million in support of Mohbad‘s son.
